Our Charity Donations
Abridge Motorfest - 17th July 2017
Each year the Mid Essex MG Owners Club used to run our own Abridge Carfest Show in April.
This year (2019) it was decided that we would not attend this show and it was decided that we would raise money for Charity via our own social events.
We donate proceeds to local charities. For the next two years our main charity will be the Essex Air Ambulance Service with whom the Mid Essex MG Owners Club felt that it was a worthy cause to support.

26th October we had our Charity Bingo night and it was a great night to remember. Members and guests all enjoyed themselves as well as the food that was included with the price of the ticket. The tombola did well and we are pleased to announce that we raised £250 which will be sent to the Essex Air Ambulance.

The event was so popular that another is planned for next year, around February time, so look out for updates nearer the time.
Our 80's Quiz Night was a great success and helped us raise £450 which goes to GOSH, thank you for all that came that night and helped us. Look at our event albums to see how the night went.

Our Own Show was quite a good day and helped us raise money for GOSH.
We had 178 cars attend the show and we raised £390 which will go to this great charity.
Quiz Night 28th October 2017
We held out annual quiz night with a sausage/fish & chip dinner to help raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The night was eventful considering Halloween as we had a power cut to add to the event but, we helped raise £400 on the night with several members dressing up in costume (well we think they did?).

Everyone had a great night and all teams did well even though there were some strange answers!!
Our members went to Great Ormond Street Hospital Tuesday 25th July 2017 to present our donation cheque. They had a great time with the staff and spent several hours there.
This year we raised funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital at the show from our tombola stall. The response from the public was immense and helped raise funds for this great charity which was very close to our members hearts.
In our short time as a Club, we have donated to St. Francis Hospice and St Lukes. We look to donate to smaller causes too.
